Ductile Iron pumps are our highly wear-resistant metal pumps. They are engineered to handle particulate-heavy mining slurries, abrasive mortar, ceramic slip, and industrial wastewater under high pressure with minimal abrasive wear.
Are Ductile Iron pumps suitable for acidic wastes?+
Although Ductile Iron offers high mechanical and abrasion resistance, it is prone to corrosion when exposed to low-pH strong acids. In such chemical environments, PVDF, PP, or 316 Stainless Steel should be selected.
